In 2010, the creative cooperative ThinkBoA successfully resurrected the Bradford on Avon Fringe Festival with minimal funding as the co-operatives first major project.

The decision was made to run the Fringe alongside the Bradford on Avon Arts Festival as a complementary event, utilising the venues and areas of Bradford on Avon that are rarely involved with the Arts Festival, and holding events that complemented those already planned, whilst offering an alternative and unique experience. 

The first FringeBoA festival was a great success, with fantastic support from the community, leading ThinkBoA to decide that although the Arts Festival would be taking a year out in 2011, FringeBoA would continue as a standalone event.
