Sometimes things happen.  Sometimes they happen a lot, and there are always a plethora of events occuring around Bradford on Avon!

Here is a short list of some events that are in the spirit of the Fringe, occuring during the period of the Festival in and around the town.



Bradford on Avon Film Society will be showing the 2010 directorial effort from Nigel Cole, 'Made in Dagenham', starring Miranda Richardson, Bob Hoskins and Sally Hawkins and telling the true story of Rita O'Grady, who led the 1968 Ford sewing machinists strike at the Ford Dagenham plant, where female workers walk out in protest against sexual discrimination, demanding equal pay. The strike is successful and leads to the Equal Pay Act 1970.
